- SET TIRE AIR PRESSURES – Front: 35 psi Rear: 33 psi FRONT BRAKES – 80% REAR BRAKES – 40% (Drums) BATTERY – Passed load test (9V) BELTS – OK HOSES – OK AIR FILTER – OK CABIN FILTER – OK LIGHTS – OK WIPERS – OK SHOCKS/STRUTS – OK COOLANT PROTECTION – OK (-50F) TRANSMISSION FLUID CONDITION – OK
- Customer approved to remove and replace leaking water pump along with replacing the drive belt. Release belt tensioner so belt can be removed along with the idler pulley. Inspect idler pulley for noise to replace if needed. Disconnect cooling hoses from water pump and drain coolant from the system. Remove and replace water pump assembly with new gasket, clean surrounding area of coolant residue during this process. Secure mounting bolts and cooling hoses to new water pump. Secure new drive belt, verify new drive belt is routed properly, secure belt by tightening belt tensioner. Fill vehicle with new coolant, bleed air out of the system. Start engine, verified vehicle runs smoothly at operating temperature with no leaks present.
