- Confirmed that the check engine light is on at time of the inspection. Using a hand held electronic scan tool to communicate with the vehicle; P0302: "Misfire Cylinder #2" Perform systems check, swap #2 ignition coil to #6 cylinder and clear faults. Fault moved to #6 cylinder indicating a defective ignition coil. Need to remove and replace ignition coil along with spark plug. Remove and replace ignition coil and spark plug. Re-secure electrical connectors and clear faults. Perform road test, verified vehicle runs smooth along with verifying check engine light remains off.
